It seemed like Christmas morning yesterday at The Gilded Gown. We looked on in anticipation while our loveable UPS delivery man rolled in cart after cart laden with big bridal boxes. “All for us?” we asked. “YEP!” he answered. He began to unload them and a mountain of boxes formed that blocked the front counter. Although we couldn’t wait to open the boxes, there was a moment when we considered the giant stack and thought to ourselves….”Wow, this is gonna take forever…” But, once the first box was opened and the beauty of the gowns within was revealed, we were like kids getting everything on their wish lists.
As we opened package after package of new gorgeous wedding gowns and carefully unwrapped each dress, we could not contain our enthusiasm. We kept telling each other things like: “Look at this one!” and “Have you seen the Lace on this dress?” and “This is my favorite!” and “NO WAIT…THIS is my favorite!” Our excitement grew as we saw the bevy of dresses lining up on our racks. Once we had the glorious gowns unpacked and hung on every available rolling rack in the store [and took a few stretches, high fives, deep sighs of relief and pats on our backs], we attached their hang tags.
