We first met Abby when she modeled for us at Knoxville Fashion Week earlier this year. She became a treasured Gilded Gown customer when she purchased her prom gown with us this Spring! And when Abby, along with her mother Jana, came back to the store last week to purchase the perfect earrings to compliment her look before prom, she became a friend. You see, there is a lot more to Abby than just her amazing beauty and sweet personality!
Because, for one thing Abby, is a winning drag racing dynamo! How cool!

Abby Fisk currently attends Heritage High School in Maryville, TN where she is an honor roll student and enrolled in advanced placement courses. And she loves trucks!
Abby was born into a family who loves the sport of racing. In fact they have their own team, the “Fisk Racing Team.” Her bother Noah also drag races.

Abby’s love of racing began in 2010. Since then she has several wins under her belt. Her home track is the Knoxville Dragstrip located in Maynardville, TN. She also races at various tracks throughout the Southeast and has brought home several wins from those. She plans to pursue racing beyond her Junior Dragster career. But in the meantime, she doesn’t mind winning some beauty pageants in her spare time!
When she is not racing, Abby enjoys spending time with her friends and family, camping, working on cars and playing with her dogs. She thanks God for giving her the opportunity to race, meet wonderful fellow racers from all over the world and keeping her safe on and off the track. Her biggest fans are her mom Jana, her dad Todd and her brother Noah. And she has a whole new team of super-fans here at The Gilded Gown!
Another cool thing about Abby is that her family owns a catering business making the best bbq in Tennessee…Checkered Flag BBQ! Checkered Flag Bar-B-Que is located in Maryville TN and offers full service bbq and catering to our area. The family also occasionally competes in bbq competitions throughout the Southeast (no surprise with this family of champs!). The Fisk family is dedicated to providing their customers with the highest quality in meat selection and customer service
