Savannah & Casey’s Beautiful Boho Fall Wedding

Savannah & Casey’s Beautiful Boho Fall Wedding

Our very own gorgeous Gilded Gown Bridal Stylist Savvi recently tied the knot. So you know we are gonna share ALL the details of her beautifully curated fall, boho-inspired wedding with you! (And yes, she found her amazing all-over lace, off-shoulder wedding dress at The Gilded Gown.)

Savvi married her handsome soulmate Casey on November 6th in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The happy couple exchanged their vows at The Chapel of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church.

Their lovely ceremony was followed by a super fun reception at The Pavilion of Hunter Valley Farm.

Both locations were picture perfect for their fall-inspired wedding. Luckily Andrea Spidell of Andrea Spidell Photo was on hand to capture every heartfelt moment. Like these cuties holding the bridesmaids’ bouquets:

How They Met

Savvi and Casey met through mutual friends and went on one date before the Pandemic caused the shut down of Knox County. They texted a handful of times during quarantine but ultimately started dating seriously in July of 2020. And their strong connection and mutual happiness was undeniable.

After an adventure-filled 6 months, Casey proposed to Savannah in her living room. She recalls about the proposal, “I don’t even remember what he said, I just remember that I was in sweat pants and was crying (in joy!), but it was perfect!”

The Dress

Savannah found her dream dress at The Gilded Gown. Her stylist Ms. Diane recalls the experience they shared during her bridal shopping appointment. She says, “Her family was absolutely amazing and we had a great time. She was so open to different styles and I loved helping her find her dream dress!”

Her bridal gown and accessories brought Savvi’s boho wedding day vision to life so beautifully.

Savvi’s sleek boho fit and flare bridal gown included a straight neckline with the level of modesty she asked for. And the modern lace provided just the right touch of style to capture her personality perfectly.

We love the expressions on her bridesmaids’ faces as they saw her for the first time in her dress!

The Wedding

Savvi and Casey wanted a wedding that was a mix of traditional and modern. Their entire day was centered on love of family and friends, their faith, and of course their love for one another. But they also mixed in a lot of playfulness and joy. Case in point, this fun train pic:

Savvi said about their day, “Most of it is a blur. Lol. But my favorite part was probably reading our vows to each other. We did the traditional vows during the service. But we also exchanged our own vows during our first look. We read vows we had personally written and it was so special and we both cried! (I wept!) and it was full of love.”

The Best Prank Ever

As soon as Casey proposed to Savvi in January, she knew she wanted to do something funny just for him on their wedding day. So she started planning with one of his best friends to do a fake first look.

The plan was to find the friend a wedding dress to wear during the first look. So when Casey turned around he would see his friend in a bridal gown instead of Savvi. It took some planning and a long Goodwill hunt for a dress for the groomsman, but the end result was hilarious. Savvi says, “It honestly was harder keeping the prank a secret than what my dress looked like, but I am so glad I didn’t spill the beans!”

Surprise Casey! This isn’t who you were expecting to see!

The humor continued as Savannah’s dad surprised the couple by wearing socks that had their pictures on them.

The Florals

The love-filled day wouldn’t have been complete without the stunning dried floral and grass arrangements made by Savannah’s mom Sloan and her crew of friends. They made the most gorgeous arrangements filled with the beauty of natural elements.

The neutral-toned bouquets perfectly enhanced the hunter-green bridesmaid’s dresses and encompassed the fall weather theme seamlessly.

The Future Is Bright

Ultimately, this day was filled with so much love and laughter. The happy couple danced the night away and exited with a beautiful sparkler send-off. So cheers to Savvi and Casey and their very bright future together.
