Jewel and Eli’s love story began just over a year ago, sparked by the kind of everyday magic that happens when two people cross paths at work. From those first moments of connection, it was clear they were meant for each other. Fast forward to their wedding day, which was lovingly held in the backyard of Eli’s sister—a setting that felt personal, intimate, and perfect for the kind of wedding Jewel envisioned.
True to her nature, Jewel poured herself into every detail of the day. From hand-picking each element to thrifting and creating many of them herself, the wedding was a complete reflection of her heart and soul. Her bouquet was a stunning, earthy arrangement crafted from a medley of dried flowers she carefully selected from Amazon. It was unconventional, textured, and full of soul—just like the bride herself.
Speaking of soul, one of our favorite parts of the day? Sassafras. The sweet goat who Jewel bottle-fed since day one and who has never left her side. Sassafras was right there for her big day, a fuzzy reminder of the deep connections Jewel builds with those she loves—whether human or animal. The sight of Sassafras near her mama on such a meaningful day? Pure magic.
And then, there was the dress. Jewel walked down the aisle in a show-stopping black gown from The Gilded Gown—an unforgettable look that suited her perfectly. She’s always known she wanted to wear black on her wedding day, and when she said yes to the one, we knew she was about to redefine bridal beauty. With her love for heavy metal and a darker, edgier aesthetic, Jewel didn’t just walk her own path—she owned it. And honestly? She was breathtaking.
