Cardwell Manor provides a beautiful backdrop for any type of event but most especially for weddings. And, it was the PERFECT setting for a recent Eclectic Styled Shoot utilizing the skills of the many wedding pros who worked to make this inspirational wedding a success. Julie Roberts Photography truly captured the lovely details of this hundred year old property and the moody, boho vibe of the wedding. All the elements which make up a picture-perfect wedding were there: a darling couple, the picturesque venue, a talented photographer, glorious floral arrangements, the most stunning dress & accessories, beautiful tuxes, on point hair & makeup, and delicious food. Yay!

The photo shoot was an engaging and eclectic mix of bohemian and traditional. The pairing of vintage style combined with modern touches highlights the charm and personality of the property, while showcasing the versatility of the venue as a whole. This co-mingling of styles accentuates not only the renovated 1890’s Victorian Manor and upgraded grounds, but also the skills of the many vendors that worked to make this decadent shoot possible. And it demonstrates how an eclectic wedding absolutely rules!

D Garden contributed the absolutely breathtaking & unique floral elements in a traditional Victorian color palette of mustard, vibrant red tones, and varying shades of greens for the shoot.

The lavish bouquet includes tons of greenery which makes the bold colors of the floral elements pop!

How sweet are these bold little bouts?

The lovely bride stuns in a vintage-inspired, bead encrusted, lavish gown by Justin Alexander from The Gilded Gown. (BTW: This incredible gown is currently available at a 50% discount!) The groom rocks a modern cut navy tux with wine tie and tweed vest from the premier local tux service Regal Tuxedo,

We are in love with the intricate details of this wedding dress, aren’t you? Just look at all those beads!

We have to say, this adorable couple looked right at home at the Manor no matter where they stopped to pose; among the hedge rows, gracing the front porch, in front of the floral fountains or posing on the glorious staircase.

The swags of greenery and flowers just blow our minds. Wow!

Awwww!!!

The beautiful bride looked FLAWLESS thanks to Makeup Artist Lindsay Conroy from LE Skin & Lash Lab, Hair Stylists from Rock Paper Hair and Personal Styling by Mallori Brooke. (And dress and accessories from The Gilded Gown of course!)

Woodsy Weddings! Rustic Style Ceremonies are Still a Trend For 2018 #nomasonjarsneeded

When the green woods laugh with the voice of joy,

And the dimpling stream runs laughing by;

When the air does laugh with our merry wit,

And the green hill laughs with the noise of it.

~William Blake

Woodsy Weddings are super popular for 2018, with a bounty of natural elements such as armloads of greenery, shafts of sunlight, the crunch of leaves underfoot, and the glorious woods setting the stage. The upcoming season’s take on the ever-popular rustic themed wedding is an updated, more nature-inspired affair. Think fresh-face brides, hand made signs, whole foods, and the gorgeous backdrop of mother nature.

Theodore Roosevelt once said, “A grove of giant redwood or sequoias should be kept just as we keep a great and beautiful cathedral.” And we think exchanging your vows in a forest grove is effortlessly romantic and an appropriate choice of settings. You can enhance the beauty of nature with just a few key pieces of decor such as a hanging crochet arbor, or an antique bike topped with a box overflowing with flowers. Flower petals can still pave the way down the aisle, even in an outdoor “cathedral.”

Something about an outdoor wedding, especially in the woods, evokes a carefree feeling. We love long, loose waves for the bride at such a wild and free ceremony. And we think that keeping decor simple with elements found in nature such as wood slices, wildflowers, and antlers brings home the woodsy spirit. An especially rustic basket would be endearing as a flower girl basket.

Embrace this trend by utilizing vintage glass bottles, galvanized metal pails and stacks of wooden crates. And of course bring in lots of greenery, and lots of unstructured florals. Wayfair has an awesome collection of nine crates on sale for less than $90, available here. You could give them an aged appearance by simply adding a touch of stain. Plus, these crates could easily transition into your home decor after the wedding.

Nothing is more woodsy than, well, actual wood. This is a rustic wedding staple, an element that we’ve seen in years past, and it will remain relevant in 2018. Wood stumps, branches and slices of tree trunks offer limitless possibilities from seating, to place settings to cake stands. Factory Direct Craft sells wood slices here.

For creative, earth-friendly woodsy favors consider handing out evergreen saplings. This gift that is a keepsake which continues to grow with your family and friends. Homespun, handmade favors in simple kraft bags embellished with paper doiles and tied with string are another good choice. Or hand out pine cone fire starters, a great DIY project.

Easy & Affordable

DIY PINE CONE FIRE STARTER SUPPLIES:

Soy wax flakes

Pinecones

Wired candle wicking

Wooden spoon

Double Boiler

Wax paper

Melt your wax over a double boiler. Let it cool for about 15 minutes. Meantime, wind candle wicking around your pine cones, and tie the end into a little loop at the top of your pinecone. Dip each pinecone in the cooled, melted wax until it is fully submerged. Remove with wooden spoon and let cool on waxed paper. After about 15 minutes re-dip each pinecone. Repeat a couple more times. Re-melt and re-cool wax if needed. You can add color to the wax and scented essential oils to the melted wax if you so desire. Need better instructions? BRIDAL STYLE: Luminous, Glowy Skin for Your Wedding Day #LuminousBride #bridalmakeup

As a bride we know you want a glowy, fresh complexion for your wedding day, right? And, starting with luminous skin will make any makeup you apply on your special day look even better. So, we’ve sourced some fabulous tips to get your face in tip-top shape!

1. Exfoliate!

Start exfoliating several months before your wedding to get truly radiant skin. The best exfoliators contain lactic acid, like DR. BRANDT SKINCARE’s Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator ($79 at Sephora), a scrub formulated with aluminum oxide crystals and soothing botanicals to polish away dead skin cells, provide a radiant, healthy look, and smooth skin’s texture. You’ll be amazed at the maximum results you’ll achieve in minimal time. Want even better results?  Visit a dermatologist where you can get you major improvements for your skin, since their products contain a higher concentration of glycolic acid than at-home treatments provide.

2. Detox!

Whatever you put IN your body, shows on the OUTSIDE. So it makes sense to detox your body to help eliminate any toxins and thereby benefit your skin. The best ways to clean up your interior? Start by drinking tons of water each and every day. Fill up the crisper in your fridge with lots of fruits and veggies, and nosh on them every chance you get. Those nutrients will save your skin! Cut back on everything fun including sugar, salt and alcohol. Hey, it’ll be worth it! (And we did just say “cut back,” not “eliminate.” You still got to enjoy life!) If you want to get real serious about detoxing, we suggest juicing. Juicing for Beginners is a great place to start.

Eat your greens, drink your water and cut back on the margaritas to achieve a naturally beautiful face for your fiancee to adore!

3. Vitamins!

Vitamins for skin are key, especially vitamin C. Applying Vitamin C to your skin is the best way to achieve a bright, even complexion, notes Erin Ferrill, East Coast educator for HydroPeptide. “The brightening qualities of this well-known vitamin make it the perfect companion for anyone struggling with age spots, sun damage or those who just want a makeup-free pick me up,” Ferrill says. For a true vitamin-taking/skin-enhancing win, take both vitamin C and vitamin E together. This powerhouse combo has been shown to increase the ability of the skin to protect itself from sun damage. “While this is no excuse to ditch the sunscreen, it is a great way to give your skin a fighting chance against the damaging rays of the sun. Look for products that combine vitamin C with gentle exfoliants and natural skin brighteners like bearberry, licorice, mulberry and brightening peptides.”

4. Chill out!

We love this super simple trick. Sucking on a cube of ice chills all of the millions of cells in your cheeks and lips, increasing circulation, and resulting in plumper, more rosy-looking skin! Annie Tevelin, founder of SkinOwl, says, “This is a great glow-fix mid-dinner or before taking a picture to restore fatigued skin to a more peaches and cream complexion.”

5. Makeup!

Achieve the “lit from within” look with the help of radiance-enhancing makeup products. Start by applying an illuminating cream under your makeup, like Becca Backlight Filter Primer ($38 at Sephora). Use TARTE Water Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 – Rainforest of the Sea™ Collection for a glowy and flawless look lasting for up to 12 hours. Finish with some bronze contouring, a little rosy blush and some illuminator swept across the tops of your cheekbones. Or better yet, find a local makeup artist to transform you into the very best version of yourself. In Knoxville we recommend Bangs and BlushSouthern Sirens, or Southern Belle Beauty!

All brides glow on their wedding days, and you will to. The happiness and joy you feel as you marry the love of your life provides more brilliance to your beautiful face than any tips we dish out ever will. But, a little prep never hurt.

BRIDAL STYLE: Fresh and Fabulous Modern Bridal Updos #BridalUpdos #BridalHair

The most popular hairstyle for brides has traditionally been some sort of updo or bun situation. This is because, typically, updos are extra-extra special. Buns bring to mind glamour, ballet dancers, movie stars, royalty and elegance. In most cases this look will require careful styling from a professional, plus an investment of both time and money. In other words, this style is not an every-day look. Who, for example, has an hour and at least a hundred bucks for their regular hairstyle? Nobody! But, when all eyes will be on you on the most SPECIAL day….making the effort to be extraordinary is totally WORTH IT! We’ve sourced some of the prettiest bridal updos around, and we hope you will find some wedding day hairstyle inspiration here.

First up is a series of loose updos, sourced from Pinterest, each embellished with gorgeous bridal hair accessories. Who doesn’t love a triple stranded pearl, right? The addition of a floral bridal vine on the side is so on-trend. And, you can never go wrong with an above bun beaded piece.

Another fave is the addition of braiding techniques to the updo. Encircle your crown with a series of twists and braids for a casually beautiful style. Or get edgy with a mohawk-inspired do! Love!!! Super loose braids can go traditional when you add in a white lace comb!

But, you don’t actually HAVE to spend any money or much time at all if you style a quick updo for yourself. We’ve got to say we are big fans of an uber pared-down approach to a bridal bun. A clean, slicked back chignon or do-it-yourself ballet bun provide effortless style that you can easily do yourself. And forgoing accessories of any kind takes this modern and minimalist wedding day look to another level. So freaking chic!!!

Yet Another Beauty Site has a wonderful tutorial for an elegant yet easy chignon below:

We adore a simple classic updo featuring a side or center part. Look, if Kate did it, you know it is on point. Of course, we absolutely love adding to the style by adding a huge floral crown a la Frida Kahlo.

If you are asking yourself, “Umm, wait, who is Frida Kahlo?”, she was one of Mexico’s most important painters! Frida was a harbinger of today’s selfie-obsessed culture, since she mostly painted self-portraits. Wild and wonderful she had impeccable personal style influenced by Mexican culture, and her famous folk art explored questions of identity, gender, class, and race in society. So if you are leaning toward an updo with a floral crown,  let this amazing lady be your muse:

Gorgeous bridal updos go glam with the addition of bridal hair vines, hair clips and veils!

And, to finish out our bridal hairspiration, we are circling back to our most favorite look: the messy updo. So soft, romantic, carefree and pretty! Tuck in some fresh greenery and floral elements to take the look sunshine and fresh air worthy! Or try a super carefree look with loose tendrils escaping here and there, and you will look like the heroine of an English romance novel.

No matter which updo you choose, you can be sure you will be looking your very best for your happy day!

TREND ALERT: Greenery for your Wedding #GiantWreaths #GreeneryBouquets #GreeneryBackdrop

We love the tend towards a greenery-heavy wedding look. From verdant swags, to all-green bouquets and mossy table runners, greenery is making major decor moments at weddings these days. The perfect way to add nature and style to your event, greenery is a fresh alternative to the more traditional floral look. This trend is not only naturally beautiful, but it is also extremely budget friendly. Even if you are getting married indoors with nary a window in sight, using greenery allows you to bring the outdoors in!

There are so many gorgeous types of foliage to chose from, like: lily grass, leather leaf, tree fern, galax, lavender, sage, monstera leaves, ivy, rosemary, cordyline and eucalyptus.

Blue Spruce, Cedar, Magnolia, Pine, Redwood and Juniper are other fragrant choices.

The stunning simplicity of an all green bouquet can be an unexpected and glamorous choice for brides:

Lush fern fronds can soften the look of an all green bouquet, while succulents added to the mix bring in a boho vibe. We love the wild and free feeling of the most unstructured green bouquets that look as if you simply pulled some things out of your yard. They certainly provide a, “Now, why didn’t I think of that when I got married?” moment! (Using a armload of green can certainly save you a bundle of cash, without sacrificing beauty or style!)

A few floral elements can be incorporated into a mostly green bouquet, too. This way, the flowers you chose to include, will definitely pop!

If you decide to go with a permanent bouquet option, Friend of Faux has a great DIY pictorial tutorial below, totally composed of fake stems which look gorgeously real in our opinion:

Another trend we love for ceremonies is the use of a GIANT wreath. These super-sized cuties make a breathtaking and picture-perfect backdrop. (Check out our last blog post, here, on how to make your own giant wreath using a hula hoop and dollar store items.)

Even small greenery wreaths pack a big decorating punch, especially when grouped together. You whip these up yourself in no time at all! And, we love the idea that these wedding decor items could easily find a spot in you and your fiancee’s home after the big day! Imagine how sweet and sentimental it would feel seeing one of your wedding wreaths as you enter your front door every day!

If you feel like making your own gorgeous wreath, we found an awesome, simple boxwood DIY Tutorial from myfabulesslife.com here!

Vibrant swaths of greenery, artfully draped on a frame make amazing arches to say your “i do’s” under.

A totally natural, creeping vine on a brick wall works as well for a photo backdrop for the bride and groom as does a carefully arranged trellis.

Greenery adds a delightful finishing touch to a two tiered, white wedding cake. And who can resist a generous path of green down the center of the reception tables?

We will leave you with some wise and wonderful words about the color green from Kermit the Frog:

It’s not that easy being green
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves
When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow, or gold
Or something much more colorful like that
It’s not easy being green
It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things
And people tend to pass you over
‘Cause you’re not standing out
Like flashy sparkles in the water
Or stars in the sky
But green’s the color of spring
And green can be cool and friendly-like
And green can be big like a mountain
Or important like a river
Or tall like a tree
When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why
But why wonder why wonder
I am green, and it’ll do fine
It’s beautiful, and I think it’s what I want to be

DIY: Giant Fall Wreath from Dollar Store Supplies #EasyFallDecor #HulaHoopWreath #FallDisplay

September has rolled around and there is a delightful hint of crispness in the air. Fall decor is crowding the shelves at our fave stores like Target, Michael’s, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby and Dollar Tree. Starbucks has Pumpkin Spice Latte on the menu, football is on, the leaves are turning and we are already planning our fall capsule wardrobe. Needless to say, we’ve got major feels for fall right now.

Our bridal store window needs to reflect our love for this season, so we decided to make a giant fall wreath. And by giant, we mean HULA HOOP size. In fact, we made the wreath using a hula hoop!

Always budget conscious, we decided to make a wreath with major autumnal impact using ONLY Dollar store items. We invite you to make this easy, inexpensive project for your home or store window, or even for your fall wedding! We can’t imagine the cost if you tried to buy a 3 foot diameter wreath out in the world, but we’re sure it would cost a pretty penny! Our wreath costs just about $25!

The first step is a quick shopping excursion to your local Dollar store to compile your supplies. (We purchased our items at Dollar Tree.)

Fill your buggy with leaf garlands, loose leaves, tiny pumpkins, fall floral picks, bags of moss, floral wire and a hula hoop. We purchased 10 maple leaf garlands, 2 bags of Spanish Moss, 2 bags of Reindeer Moss, 1 small glitter pumpkin (we wanted more of these cuties, but they only had one), 1 mini gourd, 4 bags of leaves, a hula hoop and 4 fall floral picks.

Tools we had on hand included a glue gun, glue, fishing wire and scissors. These items can also be found at most Dollar stores as well.

Set up a project table, lay out your lovely fall items and plug in your glue gun. Start by applying glue to small sections of the hula hoop and then wrap the moss around. It makes a giant mess, so make sure you have a broom, dust pan and vacuum ready for clean up!

Keep working your way around the hula hoop, gluing on more and more moss until it is completely covered. Really squish the moss around the hoop, don’t be shy.

The moss will shed quite a bit, but keep at it, it ends up amazing. Once you have a nice base layer of moss around your hula hoop it is time to start adding your maple leaf garlands. Use floral wire to attach the garland to the wreath and wrap it around and around. Repeat the process with additional garlands.

The wreath starts looking pretty darn awesome at this point. Attach your fall embellishments to a section at the top of your wreath. We started with the pumpkin and gourd, and then filled in with lots of extra leaves and parts cut from the floral picks. Bottom right photo shows the completed top portion.

We installed our fab fall wreath in our front window. We used fishing wire to hang the wreath from the ceiling. It kept twisting and turning, so we simply added fishing wire the the bottom of the wreath and taped it to the floor. Our vision for the window was completed with more leaf garlands hung from the ceiling and scattered loose leaves.

We couldn’t resist the addition of a few adorable pumpkins purchased from Ross.

Happy Fall Ya’ll! Please comment below if you would like to see more of our DIY Decor Projects.

The project took about two hours to complete, including installation, (and clean-up) so it is pretty quick.

BRIDAL STYLE: The Best Wedding Hair Accessories #BridalHeadpieces #Veils #Tiaras

You’ve worked hard planning your perfect wedding, making sure the venue, the invites, the guest list, the food, the ceremony and your dress are exactly what you want. Since you’ve been happily engaged in the bride-to-be game, checking things off your list, you’ll want to keep on track!

Luckily for you, there are as many types of hair embellishments as there are dresses, and they cover every conceivable style!  Choose from various Veils, Headbands, Hair Vines, Crowns, Combs, Clips, Halos, Flowers, Garlands and Ties. Your choice can enhance your wedding style and make you look even more gorgeous!

Headbands & Ties

Headbands and ties deliver major style impact, plus they offer simplicity and ease (no bobby pins required). Pictured above is an enchanting, hand-crafted beaded organza tie that can be worn at the waist or around your pretty head. We think it looks a little bit country and a little bit rock-n-roll!

Below, is a lovely lace headband by Mariell, vintage-inspired and delicately composed of scalloped-edged lace and oh-so chic french netting. A super comfortable and uber-romantic look for any wedding day ensemble. We see this piece working beautifully for a bridal shower or rehearsal look too!

Bridal Designer Mariell also makes this sweet gold headband featuring a row of delicate leaves and one of Genuine Preciosa crystals, hand-wired to a slender headband for a botanical statement headpiece. This is fresh and modern and well-suited to outdoor weddings.

Hair Vines, Halos & Crowns

If you want to blur the line between boho chic and modern sensibilities, we suggest you complete your look with a Halo, Garland or Hair Vine. Any of these versatile bridal hair options can be worn wrapped around the top of your head like a crown, loosely woven through a braid, or even tucked around a polished up do for a romantic, relaxed vibe.

It is easy to see why this breathtaking hair vine by Mariell is one of their very best-sellers. An ethereal combination of Rose Gold, sprays of crystal tear drops AND rhinestones, this stunner guarantees a bridal statement fit for the runway and is sure to glam up any wedding hairstyle.

We love this DITA Floral Halo, handcrafted by Australian designer Tania Maras, available here. Inspired by the beauty of wild roses, the Dita boho floral bridal halo features delicate clay flowers set among gold leaves. A luxurious and stylish statement piece that exudes the beauty of nature in all its crowning glory:

DITA Floral Bridal Halo 4

For a daring, dramatic bridal that exudes a regal look we suggest a bridal crown, like this one, from Justin Alexander:

Combs, Clips & Pins

Other easy-breezy hair accessory options for brides include combs, clips and pins. Available in every conceivable style from glitzy to casual; these guys are a simple addition to any wedding hair style. A new trend we love? Combs designed to sit around the back of the head to fancy up your ‘do, like this striking, fresh-water pearl adornment, available on etsy, from Joanna Reed Bridal:

Add a rhinestone encrusted comb for a glamorous look, or clip on a flirty feather for your reception. Clip on a flower for a garden wedding.

Check out apocketofposies on etsy, for some adorable, nature-inspired bridal bobby pins, like these for $28, which are an enchanting pair of leaf branches with a beautiful verdigris green patina. Perfect for a woodland wedding!

Veils

Veils add the most-perfect finishing touch EVER for a bride, in our opinion. Veils add such romance, and tradition, and emotion to a look. I mean, how many chances in life will you have to wear a veil?!! And, wedding photos with veils are so stunning. See below:

A cathedral veil on a beautiful bride is just the be-all end-all of wedding day looks.

REAL WEDDING: Rustic Boho Ceremony in East Tennessee #GildedGownBride #TennesseeWedding

We are so, so proud of all of our Gilded Gown Brides. And we just BEAM with happiness when one of our own has their special day recognized NATIONALLY! Beautiful bride Tarah’s Rustic Boho Ceremony was recently featured at BridalPulse.com. Woo-hoo! Congrats Tarah! You so deserve the recognition!!!

Pinterest Rustic Wedding

We first met Tarah on the day she found her beautiful dream wedding dress with us. We loved learning more about her and her wedding plans. An avid DIYer and Pinterest Board Aficionado, Tarah shared some of her wedding ideas with us, like her desire to make dream-catchers from vintage lace. And her plan to have a rustic arbor adorned with hand-made ribbon garlands. It is so rewarding to see how lovely her projects turned out for her wedding. Tarah worked hard to make the wedding of her dreams and it is easy to see the love in every DIY! #SheMadeItHappen

Tarah complimented her boho theme with a gorgeous floral crown which incorporated her love of purple! Shanna Tate beautifully styled her hair, and her makeup was photo-ready thanks to Ren Allen! #BeautyTeamsRule

Tarah wanted a relaxed, bohemian atmosphere with a rustic feel. She found the perfect setting for her day at The Millstone, a wedding venue nestled in the picturesque countryside of Limestone, TN. The grounds are filled with natural landscaping, plus the restored antique mill provided a unique ambiance for a truly special day. Her walk down the aisle, under a canopy of trees, was stunning! Her happy hubs-to-be, Shane, watched with adoration. (FYI: Tarah and Shane were introduced by Shane’s Mother!) #ThanksMIL

Tarah and Shane make an adorable couple. Their happiness just shines!!! #TrueLoveIsBeautiful

We LOVE the “love” marquee letters that greet their friends and family members. We also LOVE that the lush greenery and florals by Food City prove that you can get awesome wedding day flowers at a GROCERY STORE! And that sign! Sigh! “Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, LOVE, gives us a fairy tale!” #YesWeBelieveInFairyTales

After the touching ceremony, it was time to CELEBRATE. We are very fond of desert tables, and Tarah and Shane’s did not disappoint with tons of cupcakes, pies and cakes. Check out the killer wood slice cake stands! #morecupcakes

One sure-fire way to tell that you are at a GREAT wedding? Personalized wine! Shane and Tarah’s faces are on every bottle! Cupcakes, wine AND dancing? This is a win! #GuestsGotLucky

No matter how much work goes into planning a wedding, it wouldn’t be perfect unless it had the most important ingredient. Love. Love was very evident at Tarah and Shane’s Wedding. Love between the couple was proclaimed in every secret glance, look and smile. #HerEyesWereShining

Congrats to this sweet couple on their amazing, well-planned wedding day! We feel sure they will have a very happy ever after!

Citrus Wedding Palette: Bright & Summery Wedding Color Scheme #CitrusWedding #CitrusPalette #WeddingStyle

There’s nothing brighter and fresher than the colorful shades of citrus: think lemons, limes, grapefruit, oranges and tangerines. We love the idea of turning these fresh-squeezed hues into a wedding palette that’ll really pop for a summer wedding!

Set the tone with citrus inspired invites, like these cheerful cards by Lola Lee Invitations. They are the perfect way to brighten up the mailboxes of your family and friends.

citrus themed wedding invitation by Lola Lee Invitations

Going with a citrus theme is easy and can be affordable too. One way to save with citrus: Load up on piles of the summery fruit to use for decor and floral arrangements at the ceremony and reception! And, use masses of slices for dressing up your drink station! Plain ‘ole water looks pretty fancy with three hundred orange slices crammed in a pretty glass container. Plus the delicious lemony, limey, orangey scents will fill the air.

We love these awesomely simple table number holders: oranges paired with vintage post cards. #onpoint

orange inspired escort cards with vintage postcards http://www.weddingchicks.com/2013/09/20/vintage-destination-wedding/

Another idea we love is to use scooped out citrus fruits for delightful desert serving bowls. Like these refreshing looking Raspberry Sorbets in lemon halves. Whole and sliced fruit in tall glass cylinders of water work well as a modern substitute for more traditional floral arrangements. Even if you are using flowers, (which you most likely are!) the addition of colorful fruit adds majorly to the appeal! Brighten your guests’ senses with refreshing  IZZE Sparkling Juices. Our fave – Clementine. This sharp, summery tongue-tickler has just the right amount of bubbles to wake up everyone’s taste buds.

We love the vibrant, citrus-themed table setting by Bellenza, below, which perfectly captures a summertime feel with fruit-inspired table decorations. Visit their site for many cool ideas on how to incorporate and layer the tropical shades to make your wedding tables shine!

Fishbowl centerpieces with yellow and orange flowers

Another way to reinforce the summery theme is by wearing a luxurious, citrus-scented perfume. Try Jo Malone’s London Orange Blossom Cologne available from Neiman Marcus for $65, which is described thusly, “the scent of clementine leaves in the morning dew sparkles above a heart of orange blossom and water lily, transporting the wearer to a garden oasis.” Ummm, yeah, okay that sounds heavenly!!! Wear it for the wedding and anytime you spritz it on in the future it will conjure up wonderful memories of your happiest day.

For a romantic wedding day look for the bride, we suggest this lace stunner from Abree. Even though it features long sleeves, the sheer illusion fabric is lightweight and well suited for warm weather. We can picture this modern wedding dress sparkling in a citrus setting on a sun-kissed bride.

Bountiful bouquets bloom with beauty in yellow, orange and pink with pops of green…all citrus colors. Add in your choice of fruit to make the bouquets even more luscious! And, how cute are the tiny, citrusy boutonnieres?

A crate full of succulents, florals and oranges is rustic as well as stunning! Tropical flowers with touches of citrus and greenery are so pretty on these simple white and naked cakes. How pretty is the simple round cake with slices of orange, lemon and lime?

Best of all, going with a sweet, simple citrus theme is celebrating nature at its finest.
